Every product we ship is designed to work at the scale real business demands. Most software is built as though everyone using it has the connection and the handset of the person who built it. It gets tested on office fibre and a current-year phone, then it ships, and a good share of the people it was meant for abandon it halfway through a form. The code is usually fine.
