Where hiring actually breaks
Hiring breaks between the job post and the interview. Applications arrive by email, get copied into a spreadsheet and often sit unopened because nobody owns the list.

What we built
One candidate record per applicant that moves through stages, so the state of an application is a property of the record rather than a memory of who last replied. Employers filter and shortlist against it directly.
Applying works on a phone, because that is the device most candidates apply from, and the form survives a connection dropping mid-way.
